Guess what happened over the holidays?

Craig Ferguson got married! AGAIN!!!!!!

Here is the surprise announcement, as only Craig can do it:

Craig goes into a bit more detail after the title sequence:

One of the myriad things I love about Craig is how he welcomes his audience into his personal life, good and bad. He is near-brutal in his honesty (such as when he revealed that his mother passed in early December '08), and it just makes him even more awesome than he already is.

So it is not that surprising that he would wait until he was back on-air before he made his big announcement. Of course, the reveal was still funny as hell.

Congrats and best wishes to the lovely couple.

Also, if he is somehow reading: Craig, your wife is HOT. Way to go, dude!

P.S. Blame CBS for the Katy Perry stuff, not me.

Weekend Links

I did in fact go see TDK today. It was awesome. Here is the Watchmen trailer that was attached. (http://cityrag.blogs.com/main/2008/07/the-watchmen-tr.html)

Oh. Oh my. Here is a question for the ages: by what wonderful twist of fate does it end up that her bikini shots are rarer than her nude scenes? (Popoholic)

Railgun. (Cracked)

Please go and comment so he can stop crying. (Hispanic! At The Disco)

Uh....okay then. Just back away and don't make any sudden moves. (WIMB)

Here is Maggie Gyllenhaal on Thursday's The Daily Show. I don't know who I want to nail more: her, or Jon Stewart for pulling out the M'Kraan Crystal reference.

Hotties in my Book: Gina Gershon

Geez, what took me so long to get to this woman? You think it would be a foregone conclusion. Well, thank the folks at bestweekever.tv for reminding me.

Whys: Well, for one thing, there's that body. She looks like some benevolent being crafted her from pure sex. Especially the DSLs (and I don't mean broadband internet, either).

Then there is all the topless/naked scenes. And the making out with other women:

It doesn't hurt that her taste in men is pretty awesome as well. While John Cusack and Denis Leary ( and supposedly Bill Clinton) have their charms, the fact that Conan O'Brien is on her list of conquests blows my damn mind. I always thought that, if he was that kind of guy, Conan would be knee-deep in poon. This simply confirms my theory.

Body molded from pure sex, likes being naked while sucking face with hot women, and nailed the King of Late Night. How could I NOT want this woman? BONUS: She does a ton of voicework, such as Catwoman on The Batman.

She is currently on Broadway in Boeing Boeing where she battles Mary McCormack and Kathryn Hahn for the affections of Bradley Whitford. Lucky SOB.

More pics here and here.

Awesome Personified: Metal Wolf Chaos

One day, a couple of years ago, I stumbled onto a little known Japan-only Xbox game titled Metal Wolf Chaos. It first gained notice as one of the few Japanese games with full English dialogue. But that was just the tip of the iceberg. After playing this, the world was never the same again.

The premise of said game in helpful video form, because you would never believe me if I typed it:

Watch it again. Go on. Wrap your head around it.

All I know is, when Bush leaves office, we need to search that place top and bottom. I bet you there is a copy of this game there, and if there is, it will explain the last eight years so much.

Thing is, it is even crazier in execution. You think "all your base" was bad? Check out the gems in this clip.

Suck on my missile punch, indeed.

I say that, based on the compelling video footage, we should add Michael Wilson to the esteemed Hall of Fictional Kick-Ass Presidents, right alongside Palmer, Bartlett, and Harrison Ford from Air Force One. Also, we might want to have a talk with Japan about their perception of us. Just saying.

Weekend Post: Highlander video game

First Ghostbusters. Now this:

Highlander is a third person action adventure set in the Highlander universe – control an Immortal embroiled in a battle against rival Immortals in an adventure spanning over 2000 years.

Explore and battle your way through epic historical locations. (NY, Pompeii, Japan and the Highlands). Featuring familiar characters from the Highlander series, stunning sword combat, epic battles and high adventure in lush, historical locations.

Here are some of the interesting parts:

- It is a brand new MacLeod, one who was adopted into the clan and is 1000 years older than both Connor and Duncan.

- Story is courtesy of David Abramowitz, writer of the original TV show.

- You gain special abilities through Quickenings (Immortals act as bosses)

- In place of a health bar, there is a fatigue meter. Basically, the meter goes down every time you get hit. If it gets to the bottom, your character collapses from exhaustion, leaving you open for the standard Immortal death by decapitation. The other neat aspect of this is that you can intentionally do damage to yourself to get at enemies, such as impaling yourself on their weapon to disarm or injure them.

Teaser Trailer:

Say it with me now: Squeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
