Apparently someone thought The Lost Boys 2: The Tribe was an excellent idea, only marred by including at least one person from the original movie.
So they are taking another seminal movie, from the early '90s and giving it a direct-to-DVD sequel. Only this time, none of the original cast are involved, and the original creator has pretty much written it off and won't have anything to do with it.
The movie?
New Jack City.
Listen, no way in hell is this going to work. The original film succeeded because of two people:
1) Wesley Snipes' Nino Brown (why anyone trusted Blade was a good guy, I have no idea)
2) Chris Rock's seminal portrayal of a tragicomedic crack addict.
This sequel is just waiting to epically fail.
