Background

Five years ago, Robin had began his war on Slade and his organization. Originally seeking independence and his own name as a hero, he became obsessed with the criminal mastermind. Eventually, he donned his Red X persona to infiltrate Slade's inner circle, but he began to become corrupted by the acts he deemed necessary to keep his cover. Working under the idea that "the ends justifies the means," he committed many crimes in Slade's name. Finally, he able to confront and defeat Slade, only to realize it was his plan all along. Furious at Slade's manipulations (and himself for falling for them), Robin ends up killing him. Now, feeling he has no other choice, he has taken over the entire. He tells himself he is doing so in order to help people; that he is turning this massive criminal enterprise into an underground network to fight crime. And as soon as he can, he swears he will truly believe it. He is now considered that most dangerous human alive. To mark his new identity, a new name: BLOODWING. Two years ago, Bloodwing enters into a deal with Victor Stone, a rising technology guru.
